Corvallis Makers Market in downtown Corvallis, Oregon — handmade goods every Saturday

Corvallis Makers Market: Handmade Finds in Downtown Corvallis, Oregon

If you're heading to Downtown Corvallis on a Saturday morning between mid-April and December, there's a good chance you'll find yourself in the middle of something special.

Right next to the Corvallis Farmers Market, you'll find the Corvallis Makers Market — a growing collection of local artists, makers, and small businesses offering handmade goods of all kinds.

While the two markets are separate, they're located directly adjacent to each other, making it easy to enjoy both in one visit.

Two Markets, One Great Saturday Morning

The Farmers Market is known for fresh, local, farm-grown products — produce, flowers, meats, and ready-to-eat food.

Just steps away, the Makers Market offers something completely different: handmade, creative, and one-of-a-kind goods.

It's one of our favorite events because you can:

  • Grab breakfast or coffee
  • Shop for farm-fresh ingredients
  • And then wander through handmade items

All without moving your car!

What You'll Find at the Corvallis Makers Market

One of the best things about the Makers Market is the variety. Every booth is different, and inventory is always changing.

Here's what you might find:

  • Knitted/crocheted pieces and textile/fiber arts
  • Bath & body products
  • Handmade jewelry (that's us!)
  • PNW gemstones and rocks
  • Vintage clothing
  • Original artwork
  • Pet products
  • Candles and home fragrance
  • Glass art
  • Plants and garden items
  • Home goods and decor
  • Apparel and accessories
  • Macramé and woven pieces
  • Wood products

And yes — there's even a knife sharpening booth, which is always busy (for a good reason).

A True Local Maker Experience

This isn't a big-box or resale market. These are real, local makers — people who design, create, and stand behind what they sell.

You can talk directly with artists, learn about their materials, and find pieces you won't see anywhere else.

And, because everything is handmade, inventory turns over quickly — which makes each visit feel a little like a treasure hunt.

You'll Find Us There Too

We're a part of the Corvallis Makers Market as well, bringing a mix of:

  • Sterling silver jewelry
  • PNW gemstone jewelry like Oregon Sunstones and Holley Blue Agates
  • Sea glass jewelry
  • Sea glass art

If you've followed us online or on social media, this is one of the best places to see everything we offer in person — and often, pieces that never make it to the website, Accent Yourself Etsy, or ArtSeaFramed Etsy.

Plan Your Visit

Both markets take place in downtown Corvallis near the riverfront, in a walkable area filled with local shops, restaurants, and food vendors.

Downtown Corvallis makes it easy to turn your visit into a full morning outing.

  • Arrive early for better parking — downtown Corvallis gets crowded
  • Wear comfortable shoes (you may have to walk more than planned)
  • Give yourself time to explore both markets
  • Dogs are welcome, but please keep them leashed. Know that there WILL BE a lot of pets and small children. It can get crowded.

Why We Keep Coming Back

The Corvallis Makers Market is one of those places that feels different every week — in the best way. And, we are lucky to be a part of this special market and not have to travel far for larger art festivals.

New vendors rotate in, booths evolve, and there's always something new and unexpected to discover. Paired with the farmers market, it's one of the easiest and most enjoyable ways to support local businesses in our community.

If you are a vendor and are looking for a great place to sell you handmade (by you) goods, you can reach out to the market manager:

Jody Eaton: jody.eaton@northweststonechaser.com

She is always looking for new vendors with unique products. To be come a permanent fixture in our market...start by being available on a stand-by basis, communicate and follow all of the market rules—and maybe you can eventually get a regular spot!

If you're local — or visiting the area — make time for a Saturday morning in Downtown Corvallis. Start at the Makers Market, wander into the Farmers Market, and see what catches your eye.

And if you see us there, stop by and say hi — we are always happy to chat! 😊
