Vendor Checklist For Selling At Craft Fairs & Holiday Markets

I sell my handmade jewelry at our local farmer & artisan market in downtown Corvallis, OR most Saturdays between April & November. It’s fun and I sell a lot of jewelry, but it is important to be prepared for everything!  I have a couple of display totes, a packaging box, and an "Office" box with anything & everything needed in a craft fair booth.  Here is a list of some of the things (besides jewelry & displays) I always have with me:
  • Paper, note pad
  • Business cards
  • Ruler, tape, rubber bands, clips, magnets
  • Pens & sharpies
  • Zip ties, hooks & bungee cords
  • Scissors
  • Duct tape
  • Portable charger & cords
  • Signage & email signup sheets
  • Lint roller (I once had everything covered in ash from nearby wildfires!)
  • Alcohol wipes & hand sanitizer
  • Tissues, lip balm, hair ties
  • Reading glasses (I can’t see!)
  • Polishing cloths
  • Pliers, mandrel & ring sizer
  • Order forms
  • Extra price tags & labels
  • Packaging - boxes, bags & ziplocks
  • Jewelry care cards or instructions
  • Square reader AND swiper
  • Cash
  • Apron - holds square, cash & order pad (I prefer to hold all my cash ON ME rather than in a cash box)
  • Food & snacks
  • Water
